All purchasers pay Napa County sales tax (currently 8.75%).

2008 16019 Carneros Pinot noir

Some say "Burgundian" when referring to food friendly Pinot noirs, but I prefer "Champenoise".  The 2008 reminds me of the red wines from Bouzy in the warmerr part of the Champagne region.  Aged in French Oak for 10 months.  Black cherry, orange peel, sweet floral, and black anise aromas with a good supporting structure in the palate.

Our first commercial release, and boy do we wish we made more!.  Rich berry flavors, vanilla, and brown spices matched with a great color.  Food friendly (as are all our wines) and a great match with simple dishes like grilled chicken, seafood risotto, or even brownies.

Napa Valley Red Wine Vinegar 6.0% acidity

 

Red Pinot noir, along with a bit of Syrah and some Cabernet wines (from our search for a special wine project) were used in this red wine vinegar.   Surprisingly soft for the acidity, it is the perfect marinade or addition to your sauces. Vanilla, sherry, spice and oak characters come from the aging in oak barels.

Napa Valley Wine Vinegar 6.7% acidity

Low alcohol base wines from Pinot noir, Chardonny, and Pinot gris combined with red Pinot nor resulted in a wine vinegar that's not quite red.  Flavors are highly concentrated because no water diltion was ever used.  Aged in small oak barrels, it has complexity and flavor great for dressings and dippings.
